I did these quick Garden Fairy cards this morning. I had cut out and layered the fairies yesterday but put the cards together today. I had the background paper left from a Garden Fairy kit I had gotten eariler this year. I did a closeup of the layers below. I love the butterfly wings.
There are only snow fairies here at this time of the year! Wish it was warm enough for Garden Faires.

More hÄnglar & stÄnglar Christmas
I can hardly believe the amount of Christmas cards I have done this year and I still wish I had more to give away. I almost wish I hadn't sold so many at work. These are more hÄnglar & stÄnglar images from my friend in Sweden. I think I like these even more than Magnolia but both are wonderful. These were both colored with copics and other markers.
The word Joy was cut with my Slice. I used a background stamp from I Brake for Stamps for the print on the word Joy. The flower is created with a punch from Stampin Up. I love these little flowers.
Merry Christmas

Christmas Cards Keep Coming
Here is another adorable girl from hÄnglar & stÄnglar. I am rushing to get cards done in time for Christmas. I have lots of Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar because I got images from a friend and have been coloring at work and while I was in the hotel on a business trip. This is colored almost totally with markers. Only her shoes were done with colored pencils. The lace punch is from Martha Stewart.

More hÄnglar & stÄnglar and Magnolia
I am still busy getting cards done for the craft show at work on Friday. What I don't sell, may be coming to you! LOL
These two cards are done with stamps from hÄnglar & stÄnglar and Magnolia.
I just couldn't coverage up the music on "Musical Christmas" The paper itself was beautiful. It is more sparkle-ly than the picture show. That is always the case. The stamp is from Magnolia. I colored her with colored penciles adn copics, using OMS to blend the colored pencils.
I called this card "Jumping for Joy" The stamp is from hÄnglar & stÄnglar Isn't she adorable! I colored her with Copic, Sharpie and Bic markers except for her hair. I didn't have the right markers so I used colored pencils.
Be on watch later today because some amazing Blog candy is going to be offered right here thanks to Paper Temptress.

hÄnglar & stÄnglar Christmas
I colored the image during my lunch hour yesterday and put this card together this morning. The girl stamp is by hÄnglar & stÄnglar. The small word/tag stamp is from a Fa La La set by Making Memories. The background paper is by Mind's Eye.
I colored with colored pencils and blended with OMS. I used Copics for the skin and hair. I also used nestibilities to cut some of the background pieces.

Snowy Stampscape
Earily this morning, before work, I made this card. It is a Stampscape style card. Some of the stamps are from Stampscape. Some are from other companies. I used a stamp pad I got from Tuesday Morning and a brayer to do the background. After I did the stamping in black and green, I used a gel pen. to add the snow. I did two of these.
When I trimmed the orignal picture to make the card, I had this piece of paper left with these two trees. They were too pretty to throw away so I designed this card so I could use them. The papers I used for my stampscape images is from Paper Temptress. It is the unltra glossy cardstock and I have to say I love working with it.

Same cards...or not!
I got an amazing group of stamps from I Brake for Stamps today. They were a grab bag I got. These are cards I made with one of the stamps tonight. Both cards are made with the same words and stamps.
The words were created by my daughter. The card above was colored with colored penciles and OMS. The background is enbossed with my cuttlebug.
The second one is the same stamp and words. This time I painted the image with a pearlized paint. It is far more shiny than the picture shows. Then it was distressed. I also stamped over the colored image with my crackle paint stamp from I Brake for Stamps. The borders are metalic copper paper.
So there you have two cards that are almost alike and nothing alike at the same time!

Snowy Trees
Here is another quick Christmas card. The embossing folder is from Oh My Crafts. The punch for the top border is from Stampin Up. The snow is broken up styrofoam. The string is glittery but as usual, the photo doesn't show it.
Embossed Wreath
I did this wreath with an embossing folder I got from Oh My Crafts. The folder is one of the exculsive folders that they offer. I haven't quick figured out what the best way to use it is. In this case, I sanded it after I embossed it. It was the paper feeling wonderful but I wasn't satisfied with the look. Next I cut it out. Then I embossed paper in red and yellow. Then I cut out those parts out and layered them on the wreath. I will still be trying some other things. Only a couple thousand more cards to get done!
Quick Christmas Card
A friend needed 40 Christmas cards and asked me to help. I knew we needed to have a very simple card in order to get this done. My friend has a large family and even after the older 3 kids went to school, we still has two adorable little girls let at home. Sothis is the basic card we did. Inside there is a white sheet of cardstock to write on. She stamped Merry Christmas on her cards. We got those 40 cards done in about an hour.
The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug.

Ornament Card
A friend from JustCards, Meg F, Made a card with 3 dimentional ormanments which inspired this card. The stamps are from Stampin Up. The ornaments are from a set called Tree Trimmings. I stamped 3 of each ornament, cut them out, folded them in half and glued them together as seen here. The papers are all very glittery which you miss here in the photos.
Here is another view so you can really see the how it is 3-D.
Even more pop up Christmas trees
I am showing this because I think I have found a quicker way to create these. All the background is pretty Mind's Eye paper I got for a very good price. The ornaments are done with a hole punch. I put them through my Xyron. Then I used a white gell pen to highlight each ball.
I also included some pictures of the card opening to try to show how cool these are!
It is amazing how flat it is when it is closed.
And it just pops up! You have to be a little careful when closing it, so you don't bend the bottom branches.

More Pop Up Christmas trees
I have orders for a bunch of these so I am working at getting more done. They have to be simpler than the first one so that I can get them done quickly. It has been a learning experience. This is the front of the second one I did.
Here is the tree for this second pop up tree card. The tree pieces have been shaded with teal ink. The birds are a EK punch. The flourishes are a Quickutz die.
This is the front of the third one. The words are even from a piece of scrapbbok paper that I cut out.
The tree inside was done by running the paper through the Cuttlebug. The ornaments are from a Stampin Up tag stamp. The tree skirt was done with a Fiskers punch.
I like the texture of the embossing folder but it does make the tree slightly thicker when folding it up.
This is the area for the giver to write on. It was down with a corner punch. Okay, at east 3 more to go. I better get back to work.
Elmo
Here is a quick card I did for my grandson. He loves Elmo right now. My husband and I found a Elmo stamp on clearance at Hobby Lobby in Utah. I colored Elmo with markers. I used Copics, Bics and Sharpie markes, in order to get the right colors. He is on Pearl Glimmer paper from Paper Temptress. This is beautiful paper if you haven't tried it. I also did some Christmas tags with it that I will show later. The stamp is from Stampabilities. Th backgroud paper is from a pad called "Nonsense" by We R memory keepers. Be sure to keep an eye on my block.. Paper Temptress has offered to provide my blog with some amazing paper in December. Be sure to come back and see!

Sympathy card
My dear friend Gillian lost her dad and I am sent this to her. I had colored the image a long time ago. It was a gift from a friend and I had it on my magnetic board for a while. I finally decided that it was the right time to use it. No fancy techniques here though. The flower in the background is one I have used a lot. I think it is from Stampendous but I am not going down to my room to find it. The little girl is a Sugar Nellie stamp. The words are an old retired set from Close to my Heart that I got at a garage sale years ago. As for the coloring, I did my usual with this . Mostly colored pencils with oderless mineral spirits but Copics for the skin.
Blog giveaway
At Designs by Candice , There is a giveaway from Stamping Scapping It is a wonderful chance to win! I love the new stamps she is showing that match with the nestibilities. It's a great idea!

My First Stampscapes Cards
With the encouragement of a dear friend, I finally was brave enough to try a stampscape card. This card is my first try. I used a brayer and a multi-colored stamp pad to create the background. The stamps I used are: Lakeside Cabin 147F and the rocks off of Babbling Brook 183G. I also used trees and clouds from another maker..A Stamp in the Hand.

U is for Umbrella
This is my U card for the letter swap at JustCards. I loved the umbrella stamp when I first saw it. I got it on clearance for a dollar. It was even wood mounted. It is by Great Impressions. I colored it adn the sandles with markers. The sandals are done with a clear stamp that was a dollar also. I have had the ribbon for several years and know there would come the perfect moment to use a piece. The yellow piece of background paper is pearlescent a beautiful all my itself.

Cards for card class
I taught a card class for church, We had a night called Midnight Madness. There are lots of different crafts to do to help everyone get things ready for Christmas and just have fun. It goes from 4 in the afternoon to midnight. They even had soup for dinner and snacks. I was asked to do a card class. These are the cards we did.
The stamps on this snowman card are from two different Stampin Up sets. The background is a Cuttlebug Folder. I colored it with colored pencils.
The Santa stamp is from High Hopes. I colored it with markers and colored pencils. The "Be Merry" And punches were from Stampin Up. The background paper was a bargin from Tuesday Morning.
People started coming about 4:30 Pm. The last person left about 11:50 PM. It was a long night! About 25 people signed up and about 20 showed up. Here is a picture of the first group that came. I had two tables like this and another round table set up for people to do tags.
My daughter designed the words for this. I am not sure who made the wise men stamp. The background was Cuttlebug again. I cut out the frames for the wise men was done with nestibilities.
And here is the very last card. It is simple but nice. The background paper is another pad of paper from Tuesday Morning. The stamp was also a bargin from Tuesday Morning. The flower is punched out with Stampin Up punches and put it together with a brad. I pinch each flower petal to make the flower more dimentional.
