I love Patricia's paper and this is one of my favorites too. I love using it whenever silver is needed anywhere. But I have a habit of hoarding it for drooling over too.
ReplyDeleteI love these papers. Your blog is great. I will be back often to see what your are doing. I would love to win this blog candy! Thanks,

Congrats on being a designer for Paper Temptress this month! That's great. The paper is just beautiful, I would probably cut it into stripes and use it like ribbons or take the ribbons and weave them together. You are right, it's just so beautiful you would hate to cover it up!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Holley

ReplyDeleteThe silver lustre paper is gorgeous. I've used it to die cut snowflakes. It is also a good layering paper.
ReplyDeleteFaye, this paper is GORGEOUS! I can just picture using it with some blues to make some wintery cards. I am a follower, I have posted your Blog Candy on my blog with a link to you, the Paper Temptress, and JustCards, but I do NOT wish to be signed up to win because I just won the NEFC prize from you. I'd like to give these ladies a chance to win. Good luck, ladies!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Snoopy :D
Beautiful papers, might be good for weedingcards! =)
ReplyDeleteI am now a follower and I will post this on my blog too! =)
Hugs, Elenor
I really like how you did the background paper. I do not use silver very often because I find it is so in your face. With the technique you use it tones it down. I also like the stamp. My son is really into Fairys and dragonflys.

Faye, the card you made with this paper is fabulous. This paper could be used for so many things but the one that pops into my head is wedding and anniversary cards. And like Snoopy posted with blue as a fantastic winter/Christmas card. Those colors would ROCK together as a Christmas card. I am a follower of yours and I just posted about your Blog and candy on my blog. I need to use my Blog more, it's has cobwebs over there, lol..Congrats on your guest spot Faye and I hope you see more guest spots from other places in the near future. Thanks Faye for all you do. Hugs, Robin
ReplyDeleteHi, Faye. Just found you through PT Community Blog. Love what you did to the silver lustre paper and I have an idea to use this technique for water. I don't have a blog, but I sent your link to my friend that I make cards with. We'll enjoy checking back often for new ideas! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteTeri "Terrific" (Patricia posted the card I made with the silver lustre paper; isn't she sweet :D)
I love my friend, Teri Terrific! She sent me your blog and I LOVE it! Since I'm a "glitter girl", I can see a beautiful, glittery Christmas tree scene made with this beautiful paper. Oh, the possibilities!!
ReplyDeletefaye your cards are fantastic but i know you hear that often ;o) that paper looks so great i would love to have to chance to win it! i think i would use it for some winter greeting cards. some diecut snowflakes using that color would look great with white and blues. i will post your candy on my blog as well since i have been a follower of your blog for awhile now!
