Easel Card

My laptop has died and with it many of my pictures are trapped within it. I am now sharing computers with my 16 yr old son. It took an hour to install the old printer on it. Sadly many of my pictures of cards are still on the laptop so happily, Trish sent this photo of my easel card I sent for a JustCards swap.  I am still having fun coloring hÄnglar and stÄnglar images with Copics and making cards with them. The paper already had stitching on it. I put the flowers together with layers of flowers.

I am busy getting ready for my retreat to North Carolina.  I will have lots of cards to post when I get home.  I am also going to offer a bit of blog candy so be sure to check back next week.

I am still obsessed with the JustCards Retreat. Just a week and a day until we go. This is one of the cards I am bringing for everyone to make. I am soooooo excited about it. We will fill it with sand and shells from the beach in North Carolina!

The stamp of the woman is from Stampin Up
I colored her with copic markers and watercolor pencils.
Below is a close up of the sand and shells. The sand is from Michigan from the beach you see at the top of the page on my blog. The shells are from Oregon.

I am sooo excited to go to Duck, North Carolina!

Perparing for a Retreat

I have to get some card kits ready for my retreat to Duck, North Carolina. Some of the members of JustCards are meeting there. It is so exciting. As I was trying to clean my work space, I came across this image I had already colored and cut out so it was a quick card to put together.
The image is hÄnglar and stÄnglar
The purple paper is from Stampin Up.
I don't know who made the pink stitched paper or the shiny light purple paper
The coloring was done with Copic Markers
The backgroung is made with a cuttlebug embossing folder.

Only a little more than a week and I am off to Duck. Sooooo exciting!
