Bingo card day 9

Do you think someone will ever win bingo? I think it will be tomorrow. It won't be me but this has been a great challenge. I may figure out how to use it in my regular work. I did this card very quickly. I was sick last night and so I am very tried tonight. The card is done with the colors purple, green and red. I am not sure the photo does the colors justice. The butterflies are stickers I got at the dollar store. They are intended as wall decorations. I layered them on the card for more dimension.

Bingo card day 7 and 8

I got these done late today. These are my cards for the 7th and 8th days of the Bingo challenges. I wasn't very brave with the colors I choose.
The first one here, I chose the brown, chestnut and yellow of the colors for the day. The stamp is from Stampendous. The word friends is a brown rub-on.
In this one, I chose royal blue, salmon, beige and indigo. The background is done with cuttlebug. The butterfly is a Quickutz. The lace is a Martha Stewart punch. The oval stamps are from Stampin Up and were cut out with Stampin Up punches.

Bingo card day 6

The colors for bingo on Craft Crafts for day 6 were sapphire, scarlet, coral red, cherry blossom pink, and turquoise. I picked sapphire, scarlet, and cherry blossom pink. The inks were from Stampin up. The blue, (sapphire) is paper. It is kind of opalescent. The photo doesn't show it. The "floor" was done with making and two shades of ink. The "wall" s a cuttlebig holder thart was inked after it was embossed. The cover on the food tray was just inked paper so it would match. The stamp is Viola and I got it from a garage sale a couple weeks ago.

Give it a try!

Bingo Day 5

Did you notice that day 4 of Bingo is missing? I just don't really like the card I made. The colors were Lilac, Mustard, Orchid, Magnolia, and Magenta. I did the card but won't be posting it here.

So day 5 colors were Chocolate, Cornflower blue, Baby blue, Cenise, and Crimson. I chose to use the blues and chocolate. The blues are probably no cornflower and Baby blue but I did use 2 shades of blue and Chocolate. The dragonfly is a stamp from Stampin Up.

Beach Cards

Instead of my bingo card, I am sharing some beach cards I recently did for a swap with yahoo group JustCards . The shells are done with stamps from I Brake for Stamps and the large image is from Stamps Happen. I painted the images with watercolors, inks and water color pencils.

Bingo card day 3

Today on Card Crafts third day of color bingo, The colors chosen were Dark Blue, Aquamarine, Peach, Tangerine and Gold. I chose to work with Dark Blue, Aquamarine and Gold. I found some really cute tangerine paper but it just didn't fit with how the design went. The Image is a new one I picked up at Hobby Lobby in Illinois this summer.

Q is for Quilt

As the alphabet themes cards continue on Justcards , this was the Q card I did. The papers were all printed. I ran all the quilt squares through the Cuttlebug with different embossing folders. then I attached all the pieces to a white paper and used nestibilities dies to cut the shapes. I stitched the quilt with a pen. It's a fun card. Hope you try one too.

Bingo card day 2

Day two of bingo was much harder and I committed to make a tri-fold card. This card shape is popular and I have seen it many places on the Internet but recently saw instructions which were really good at this site. I added photos of some of the details.

The scalloped circles were done with Nestibilities.
The bird was a sticker by K and Company.

Bingo card day 1

On yahoo group Card Crafts , we are playing bingo with colors. Each day 5 colors from the list are posted and I have challenged myself to make a card with those colors. This was day one. Pretty easy colors. Of the 5 colors, I choose Teal, Pink and Cream. The stamp is from I Brake for Stamps. The background is done by inking a Cuttlebug embossing folder before embossing the paper. The image was colored by painting with Stampin Up inks except the skin which is a copic.
It was a fun challenge.

Fast Birthday Cards

I challenged myself to get two cards done in a hour. I have been taking far more time than that for each card. Well, I did it and make these two cards this morning. . I don't think they look like fast cards.

This one is very fast. The background was done with cuttlebug. The die cuts used around the words are from Nestabilities. I used Stampin Up punches to make the flowers . There is a very skinny strip of black card stock under the ribbon.

The words on this one are from a set of Stamps I just got at Tuesday Morning on Saturday. The ribbon on the bottom I got from Micheal's but I don't know the brand. I embossed the printed paper in the background. The flower was from a jar of flowers I got at a garage sale this summer.
Try it yourself.
