January Card class cards

Here are the cards from the last card class in January. I am falling behind!
My friend Karen designed this one for class because it was also a Stampin Up party. People who made an order didn't have to pay for the class.  This card uses all Stampin Up products.

This next card Was done with a variety of stamps. The little hearts were from an old Stampin Up set. The heart cups are on clearance from Stampin Up. the Ric Rack Die cut is from Quickutz. The words are part of an occasion set I got at JoAnns.  The paper is some old paper I got at Tuesday Morning.

We are doing a Christmas card every month so we have a selection of them when the holidays come.  Here is the card for January.

Karen also designed this card. It uses all Stampin Up materials.  I loved the die so much I bought it.  I also got the expensive ribbon for her waistline.  I used different words than the rest of the group and used the card for my sister-in-law, Doris's birthday.

As always, I wish you all could come to my card classes.

In the Wilds of Africa

Here is a recent swap card I did.  It was lots of fun. It was for a card swap on JustCards.

I colored the elephant and background with Copics. I got the elephant at a garage sale a couple years ago and don't know who makes it. He was unmounted rubber with no markings. I think he is beautiful

The spotted fabric is from a wallpaper sample book I got years ago.  There is small samples in the book and I used the whole piece of this fabric.

Thank you Cards

My son has left on a 2 year church mission to Washington DC.  I made a bunch of thank you cards  to give some friends and family that gave him gifts before he left.  I had him write the messages on papers before he left and then I did the cards later.  Here is a picture of him before he left.

And here are the cards.
The stamps are from Stampin Up.  I used a variety of papers. I am trying to use up scraps.

I made this background paper for a previous project.  The inks and stamps are from Stampin Up.
