Berry Special Girl

Isn't she cute!  She is another of those images I colored last Friday. I did the card last night thought with the image. I used some scraps on it too. She just makes me smile.

Summer Time

Here is another adorable hÄnglar and stÄnglar image. Thank you so much Annika. They are just so fun to color. This is another image I colored with Copics last Friday. I put the card together on the weekend. The picket fence was a die cut I received several years ago. I love how all the parts work together. And since it is a cold spring week, it is wonderful to think of a nice summer day having a picnic.

Sending a Letter

This one is another image sent to me during a swap or as a gift. It is lovely shiny paper. I colored it with copics. I used a new border punch from Stampin Up for that little edging. Besides the coloring, it was pretty quick and simple. I am working on sets of cards to give my mother and mother-in-law for Mother's day. I hope to get lots of cards done so they each have a nice set.

Clover Fairy

I am still working through the inmages I received and colored on Friday night.
The paper the fairy was stamped on is pearlized so I couldn't get a good picture. I have scanned it. The colors are not true but at least you get an idea. This is all colored with Copics. Happy cardmaking!

Follow your Heart Fairy

When it comes to coloring, these hÄnglar and stÄnglar stamps are great fun. This is a rescued fairy. Why you ask? Well I started coloring it the two shades of teal and then picked up the wrong color for the inner wings. I thought it was a pink. I have least it partly colored for a long time. Since the image was a gift from a friend in Sweden, I didn't want to waste it but I wasn't sure that to do.  I finished it up the other night and think the background colors make it work okay.

The fairy is colored with Copic markers. The punched areas were done with Stampin Up punches. The glass bubble things were from a swap.   I can't remember what they are called. I am trying hard to use stuff up from in my home. I sure have a lot of stuff!

We've all had days like this

I am trying to use up what I have rather than spending any more money. In addition, I got new copics on clearence, a week ago, so I wanted to color. This is an image that was sent to me from my friend in Australia, Laurel. I colored whis along with many other images last night. Then tonight, I have been putting cards together.  The embossed background is a cuttlebug folder. Theborder punch is from Stampin Up.

Cat Card

We had a swap for a cat card for JustCards.  Here is the card I did. The cat stamp is from I Brake For Stamps. The background is wallpaper from a wallpaper book.  I used distress ink to do the shading.   .My cat is a wild thing so this seemed appropriate.

Magnolia Surfer

I am getting so excited for the JustCards retreat to Outer Banks in NC. This card is inspired by the ocean and thoughts of that trip. I am sure I won't be surfing but it certainly leads you to think of the ocean. The stamp is a Magnolia stamp. It has been colored with Copics. I got a wonderful deal on the markers from my local store which was discontinuing them.
The border is a new punch from EK. It made me think of waves. The shell is a punch I have had for a very long time and one of my favorites. It was a gift from my husband.

So I am off to bed to dream of the trip to Outer Banks!

Son's Birthday

Tomorrow is my son's 25th birthday.  Here is the card I put together for him tonight.  The image was from a JustCards image swap. The rest is just layers of blue papers. Simple but does the job!

Love to you

I got some markers for a bargain at the local craft store. They were on clearance because the store isn't going to carry them any longer. I am even sending my husband back today to see if he can get me more of them. They are Copic Ciaos and they were only a dollar each.

The stamp used here is from hÄnglar and stÄnglar. The background is done with a pendant die cut from Spellbinders. I added a small scalloped square with another die from Spellbinders, as well.

So today, this cute little card is sending love you you!

Happy Easter Grandsons

Here is a quick card I did for my grandsons. It don't look very much like an Easter card but it is. I used big wall stickers to make it. I got them from the dollar store. The card is 5 1/2 by 5 1/2 which is larger than I usually work with.  The bottom is a new EK border punch. Since the older of my grandson's is only 20 months, and he torn up the last card I sent, I decided to do a simple card.

Happy Spring!

Happy Dancing

I am working at using up the supplies from the class I had a couple weeks ago. I also had this new stamp that was a gift from my friend Annika.  I liked the girl being slanted and dancing when I made the card. Now it just feels like she is falling off the card. She is colored with colored pencils and copics.  The background is a diecut paper I got from recently. There is also a little border from Stampin Up on it.

Thanks for stopping by to visit! Have a creative day!

Birthday Flower

This is another card from the Stampin Up workshop I did a few weeks ago. All the elements worked well together. I think my favorite part is the flower button in the center of the flower. Everything on it is from Stampin Up.

Quick Flower Card

I did this flower a while ago with my Slice. I really should use it more. This was a quick card just for fun. The background is a piece from my scrap box. The green areas are glittery.
