This was a fun project. I had my husband pick up a leaf on one of our walks and then I painted a leaf to match it. The next day or so I had my grandson pick up one for me to do.   It was a really good exercise and you don't have lots of time because even over night, the leaves change a lot.

After I painted the leaves, I needed a card for a friend. The card is definitely bigger than most of the cards I do, but it was so fun to add them to this card.

This is a brown card base with a red later, I used washi tape on it and a rub on for the words.  The smaller leaf has dimensionals to lift it a bit.

Cards for Local hospitals

In 2020, I made several of these cards. I sent some of them to the local hospital to thank the doctors and nurses there. I also made some for others to send to doctors and nurses they know. I also was asked to make a set for the local museum to save for a future Covid exhibit. I am quite proud to be part of the museum. The also asked to catalog a photo I took, and images of some art journal pages I did.

These are done with a digital image from Unity Stamps.  I printed the on watercolor paper.
I ironed the images to help set the ink, want tried to avoid getting them very wet as well.

Then I used water colors to paint the images.

I used this verse inside some of them

I used colors that were close to the colors worn in the hospital I sent them to.

I painted these for a friend at Christmas time.

Watercolor Christmas

I haven't added anything new here in a long time but after selling some of my stamps to a new friend, I felt inspired to add something new.  These are some of the cards I did at Christmas.  I wanted to use my new watercolor skills on the cards last Christmas. Here are ornaments and trees. I also did some santas I will post separate. It was fun to make each one different. I used iridescent paints on some of them which of course does not show with the camera.
