Soar

This is another painting in my In The Flow series. It is called Soar. The seagull is painted over an acrylic pour. I think the pour gives the feeling of water and sky. 

 

Among The Stars

I haven't been great at keeping up my blog but here is an image of a painting I completed a few months ago. It is very textured painting over an acrylic pour. This is the card version of the painting as I printed cards after I completed the painting.  The painting is called Among The Stars and it is part of my In The Flow series. 

Working on a Webpage

 I have decided I need to have a webpage to continue to enter art shows and grow a business.  It is still in process but searchable now.

Family Uno

I designed a family Uno game for my children's families 

The cards have pictures of everyone in the family. It was tricky finding the right paper to make them work. 

The boxes I made have everyone's names printed on them. 

 

Animal Stickers

I have had great fun learning to make stickers this year. Most of them have been my own art but these are some I purchased the files to give to a friend. 

 

Grandson's Pixel Art

I used my son's pixel art to make him a shirt and some stickers.

The shirt was done with a print able heat transfer paper.

 

T-Shirt Vinyl Heat Transfer

Tee-shirts were a go to gift for me to give this year. It is hard to come up with gifts for some of the boys and men. These are some of the shirts I did this year for Christmas. 

I cut the files with my Silhouette. I purchased most of the files on Esty. 

 

Christmas Card Class

 Before Christmas, I had a card class. These are the cards that were done in the class.  It has been a long time since I was able to get people together for a card class. 

This is a made with a cutting die I have had for a long time. 

Above is the front of the pop up card.  The Tree is a Stampin Up punch 

The pieces of these are from a combination of die and stamp sets.

This is a Unity Stamp. An Angie girl stamp. It is colored with Copic markers and the sweater is paper pieced. 

Winter Barn

I attended a local paint class. It was like a wine and paint class but without the wine. 

This was my version of the painting the class offered. 

 

Play food

These are print and cut files. You print them and there are marks on it so that the Silhouette machine can figure out what to cut. I hope my grandkids have fun with them. 

 

Christmas Painting

 

Inspired by a painting I saw at Hobby Lobby, I did this for my daughter-in-law. 

Nativity Boxes

I made a set of paper boxes for my daughter-in-law. They are old files I got from Silhouette long ago. I had made Mary, Joesph and Baby Jesus before but never so many of the boxes before. 

After I took this picture, I made even more parts to the set for a total of 12 boxes

I think it would be fun to fill them with treats and scriptures for the days leading up to Christmas.

 

Digital Paintings

I used my Corel software and digitally painted these photos. I think that altering them might make it easier to actually paint them. 

 

Game Controller Card

This is a card I made for my grandson's birthday. It is meant to be a gift card holder but I will be putting my message on that white space.

The cut file was from Dreaming Tree. I did my own things with the colors.  I used my Silhouette machine to cut the files. 

 

Classic Spinner Card

 

I did a spinner card for my father's 86th birthday. 

The cut file is from Dreaming Tree.  I cut it out with my Silhouette machine. The music notes are a punch from Sampin Up.

Catching up

 HI 

I know I have very few followers here but I am going to play catch up over the next couple weeks. I have been accepted into ArtPrize 2022 and it is time for me to catch up all my social media channels. :)  

I have moved from card making to mostly doing art - painting - but I am still of a bit of an octopus when it comes to arts and crafts.  I do many different things and love to learn something new. 

For the last couple days, this elephant has had my attention. I have draw and undrawn him. Hoping to paint him later today.

This last card is super simple but super cute too. Cut with my Silhouette. 

 

Who's Birthday

Yes, I still do cards.....

THis cute little card is made with stamps from Unity Stamps. He was embossed in black and colored with markers. I taught a recent card class and this was one of the cards the class did.
